The Island Project

Come join us on the islands, where the sun is warm and the breezes blow...

The Island Ministry was established to care for the 19 islands located around the church grounds. The first group of volunteers has met and exchanged ideas to formulate a master plan, which will ensure that there is some commonality between the islands. We are now in the planning stages, where the square footage will be measured and prices and availability of plants and trees are determined.

The second group of volunteers has agreed to adopt an island, which they will plant, water, weed, and mulch. This group is now planning their islands. If you are interested in experiencing the island life, please contact Jackie Hoist or Beth Ann Glenn.
