Benevolence Committee

DMC is committed changing lives and that includes helping those in need. Each month, the church board sets aside money from the general offering to support the requests received by the Benevolence Committee. The money helps people within the community, as well as families within the church. A special offering was taken at Thanksgiving specifically for members of the church family that are unemployed or struggling during this tough economic time.

Anyone with a need, whether it is help paying the mortgage, Consumers bill, car payments, etc., should contact the church or a member of the Benevolence Committee. They are then asked to fill out a request form that will be reviewed by the Benevolence Committee. If you or someone you know is in need of assistance, please contact the church office.
